Heather Melton

Welcome to SKY Academy in Englewood.  I am looking forward to an exciting and fun-filled school year. My name is Heather Melton and I teach 7th grade Language Arts. 

I am originally from Colorado Springs, Colorado and moved to Florida in 1995.  I began my teaching career in 2007, after graduating from the University of South Florida.  During that time I taught grades 5-12.  In 2010, I graduated with my master's degree from the University of South Florida. 

When I am not teaching at SKY, I will be spending time with my family.  My husband and I have two children.
